The raising of new beautiful luxury apartment projects in Jerusalem marches on. If you’ve been on a Machane Yehuda Shuk tour lately you seen something is going on. Access to the legendary Eitz Chaim Yeshiva building has been closed off. On the land, two high rise luxury towers will be built, in what will be appropriately named the “Eitz Haim Project.”
The Eitz Haim Project curently is approved for two towers (24 and 30 floors) with over 300 apartments. It will have all the amenities including gym and underground parking. The apartments will be 2-4 rooms in addition to gorgeous penthousre apartments with magnifcent views in all directions of the city all the way to the Old City Walls.
And of course residence will benefit from living atop one of the greatest places in the world Machane Yehuda Shuk. Choosing where to have breakfast, lunch and supper could become burdomesome with this embarrassment of riches at your doorstep! The project will also include an 8 floor 170 room hotel operated by Fattal Hotel Group famous for their Leonardo Hotel chain.
This project joins the older and extremely successful Saidoff Towers as well as the Shalem Tower, J Tower and other new luxury towers in the Machane Yehuda area. All these project are right on the main Jerusalem Light Rail line.
The good news is that historic Eitz Chaim Yeshiva building will be preserved. The only downside I can think of, is that the buildings will block the historic Sundial on the Zoharei Chama Shul across the road. So if you do choose to buy an apartment in the Eitz Haim Project be sure to bring a watch with you!
