American conservative blogger and great friend of Israel, Laura Loomer, showcased the Ukrainian P1-SUN interceptor drone, designed to destroy Russian Shahed drones, to her audience of over 2,000,000. During her visit to the SkyFall facility, she signed two such devices, leaving a message for Iran on one of them.

The Russian armed forces launch thousands of such drones at Ukraine every month. Initially, the Shahed were relatively slow devices with a propeller engine, but Russia is gradually adding new communication systems, guidance, and jet engines. The speed of some new variants can reach about 500 kilometers per hour, significantly complicating their interception.
Loomer’s wording about missiles requires separate clarification. In 2024, the US announced the transfer of short-range ballistic missiles Fath-360 from Iran to Russia. In 2025, reports emerged about the preparation of deliveries of corresponding launchers. However, information about the mass use of specifically Iranian missiles against Ukraine remains less certain than the evidence of Shahed usage.
Russia helps Iran find American targets
Loomer further wrote:
“Those are the same drones Iran is using to murder US soldiers with assistance from Russia, as Russia is providing Iran with satellite imagery to target and murder Americans in the Middle East.”

The statement is formulated extremely harshly, but it is based on published information about Russian-Iranian intelligence cooperation.

Loomer said that during her visit to the SkyFall production, she was given the opportunity to sign two devices:
“When I was inside the @SkyfallUA drone facility, I signed two of the P1-SUN drone interceptors.”

On one of them, she wrote:

In July 2026, SkyFall presented the new P1-SUN Jetkiller modification at the Farnborough Airshow. It was created to combat faster jet versions of Russian Shahed.

Why such an interceptor is more advantageous than an anti-aircraft missile
The cost of P1-SUN for Ukrainian forces is about a thousand dollars, depending on the configuration. For comparison, one Shahed-136 can cost from 50 to 100 thousand dollars, and a PAC-3 missile for Patriot is about 4 million dollars.

Why Loomer’s change of position was noticeable

According to her, personal acquaintance with the country, communication with people, and being present during Russian attacks changed her position.
